The separation production process of the flotation machine is a two-stage flotation of one rough and one fine, and the process flow of rough separation, foam regrinding and re-election, and the flotation agent is dodecylamine. The current production process of the flotation machine is shown in the figure.

The magnetic separation concentrate is pumped to the flotation feeding box, and after adding dodecylamine collector, it is fed into the mixing tank. The stirred magnetic concentrate is fed into the rougher flotation machine, and the rougher flotation concentrate enters the concentrate. The flotation machine is selected, and the underflow product of the selected flotation machine becomes the final concentrate and is pumped to the filtration workshop for dehydration. The foamy ore scraped out by roughing is pumped to the first section of concentrating magnetic separator. After one roughing and one sweeping, concentrating and throwing tailings, the concentrated ore is sent to the ball mill for grinding. The ore is fed into the second-stage magnetic separator, and the concentrate of the second-stage magnetic separator is pumped back to the flotation machine for re-election in the ore box. The medium ore foam scraped out by the selection flotation machine is directly returned to the flotation by the pump, and sent to the ore box to enter the roughing flotation machine for re-election. The comprehensive tailings of the one-stage sweeping phosphorus separator, dewatering tank, and two-stage magnetic separator are fed into the disc recovery magnetic separator, and the concentrate of the recovery machine is pumped to the first stage of concentrated magnetic separator, and the tailings of the disc recovery magnetic feeding machine become the final tailings.

The main problems in the current sorting process:

(1) There are many selections. In addition to a two-stage flotation machine, one rough and one fine, a five-stage magnetic separation plus medium ore regrinding process is also used, which makes the whole process longer.

(2) Process management is difficult. The cationic undecylamine collector is used, the flotation foam is sticky, and the process is difficult to run smoothly, which affects the separation effect.

(3) The flotation efficiency is low and the production cost is high. Due to the influence of factors such as sticky foam, high grade flotation tailings, more equipment, and long process, the production cost has been significantly increased.
