Classification and introduction of crushing process plant

During the working process of the crusher, its crushing and screening are combined operations. Before crushing, the material to be crushed usually contains some smaller particles. After screening and crushing, the crushing efficiency can be higher. In the crushed materials, due to the different principles of the crusher, there are often some materials with relatively large particle sizes, and the large-particle materials that do not meet the corresponding particle size requirements also need to be screened for multiple crushing.

Therefore, in order for the crusher to achieve better performance, it is very important to cooperate closely with the screening system. Usually the composition of the crusher and various screening systems mainly has two working modes: open circuit and closed circuit. In the closed-circuit system, the size of the crushed product is controlled by screening and inspection, and the particle size of the crushed product is relatively uniform, while the open-circuit system often contains larger particle size in the crushed material.

The crushing process consisting of coarse, medium, fine and ultra-fine in crushing and screening production is usually called the crushing and screening process, or the crushing process for short. There are many crushing processes in various mines, but they usually have the following things in common:

1. Carry out the corresponding segmentation processing for the crushing process;
2. Crushing and screening are closely coordinated;
3. The overall segmentation takes the crushing section as the basic unit, which is divided into coarse crushing section, medium crushing section, fine crushing section and ultra-fine crushing section, or it is called the first-stage crushing, the second-stage crushing, the third-stage and the fourth-stage.

According to the different particle sizes and requirements of each crushing section, different crushing and screening equipment are usually selected according to the corresponding situation. The ultra-fine crushing section is mainly set up to obtain finer material products. The process difference of different crushing processes mainly lies in the number of crushing sections, the configuration and function of equipment and screening system. The second and third stages are the most commonly used crushing processes.

The two-stage crushing process mainly has two types: open circuit and closed circuit. It is very practical for small underground concentrators with imported material particle size of 200-400 mm and product material particle size of 12-30 mm. In some cases, the crushing workload of the first stage is relatively small. In this case, the two-stage closed-circuit crushing process can be directly used without pre-screening before crushing. The use of two-stage open-circuit crushing is mainly used in some gravity separation plants or small mineral processing plants that need to send the crushed materials directly to the mill.

The three-stage process is also divided into two types: open circuit and closed circuit. The closed-circuit process has strong adaptability when the mud content of the original ore is not high, so it is widely used as a preparation process for grinding in various industries and mines of various sizes. The workshop equipment configuration of the three-stage open-circuit crushing process is relatively simple, which can save some of the corresponding infrastructure costs. However, due to the relatively coarse finished material produced, it is usually used in the treatment of argillaceous ores with low moisture content under site constraints, or in processes where the particle size of the feedstock for grinding is not strict.

In the crushing of some minerals, because the raw ore contains a lot of muddy water, it is difficult to meet the production conditions if the normal crushing process is used. In this case, a crushing process that includes a washing process is usually used. Before and after the coarse crushing of the material, the corresponding ore washing and fine mud treatment should be carried out on the material. Specifically, the corresponding crushing process design can be carried out according to the difference of the corresponding production process.
