There are many types of crushers, most of which are used for hard rock crushing are impact crushers. Impact crushers are widely used for their characteristics of large crushing ratio, high crushing efficiency, cubic product shape, and selective crushing. A mining enterprise has adopted an impact crusher manufactured by a small factory for production operations. The maximum feed particle size of this impact crusher is 600mm, the output particle size is less than 60mm, and the production capacity is 110t/h. This equipment is a crushing machine that uses the principle of impact to crush brittle ores. The crushed products can be used not only as raw materials for cement production, but also as concrete aggregates, paving highways, etc. Its crushing ratio is large, so it can simplify production. Disadvantages of the impact crusher: In actual production, we found that the equipment has the following shortcomings:

First, the crushed fine material is mixed with unbroken larger block materials, that is, leakage occurs.

Second, when crushing, the material will collapse from the feed port, which is not conducive to personal safety and damages the environment. the

Third, the fine material is extruded from the connection between the shaft and the shell, and piled between the bearing shell and the crusher shell, which will easily cause dust to enter the bearing seat and affect the normal operation of the bearing.

Transformation of impact crusher: In view of the above three deficiencies, the following three solutions have been adopted to improve:

First, shorten the distance between the lower edge of the bottom plate of the inlet chute and the rotor from the original 100mm, and shorten the length of the bottom plate to less than 50mm, so as to avoid part of the material from leaking out of the gap (see Figure 1)

 

Second, use the waste elevator chain rings to hang them in a chain curtain, install them above the rotor and bias them into the direction of the feed port, and use round steel to connect a row of chain rings at a distance of 500~800mm, and wear them in the ring chain to connect them (see Figure 1), in this way, the material that bounces back and splashes towards the feed inlet after the counterattack is broken will hit the chain curtain, scatter from the chain curtain to the rotor, and enter the outlet chute. the

Thirdly, make a clip for pulling the material, and fix it on the shaft between the bearing seat and the housing. During use, when the rotor rotates, it will drive the clip on the shaft (the clip is welded with a flipping fin) to squeeze out the bearing seat. The material is taken away, so that the material will not be squeezed into the bearing seat and cause bearing damage.

 

To sum up, through the above three transformation measures, the production process requirements and safe production of this type of impact crusher are guaranteed, the labor intensity of workers is reduced, and a favorable guarantee is provided for the safe and reliable operation and widespread promotion of this equipment.
