I am wondering what is the difference of your YGM mill and ball mill? I want to process quartz and feldspar to powder , what is the best one for me ? |

Here is the comparison of YGM high pressure suspension mill and ball mill: Advantage of YGM high pressure suspension mill:
(1) Cost of YGM high pressure suspension mill is much lower than cost of ball mill. YGM mill is a complete set of mill, including bucket elevator, hopper, electro-magnetic vibrating feeder, main mill system, motors and electric control panel.
Main mill system includes: main frame, separator, blower, cyclone collctor, filter, pipes.
After you buy this mill, it is not necessary for you to buy more accessory equipments.
(2) Power consumption of YGM high pressure suspension mill is lower. You can check from our website.
For ball mill, usually you need to buy classifier with motor , and blower for classifier with motor. Also there will be motor of bucket elevator, etc.
Disadvantage of YGM high pressure suspension mill:
The mainly disadvantage is that it will add iron content for products during milling process.
If you use ceramic liner and ceramic balls, it will not add iron content.
From above, you can see advantage and disadvantage of both mill.
So if there is not strict requirement for iron content in the products, I suggest you use YGM high pressure suspension mill. If there is strict requirement for iron content in the final products, there are two ways. One way is to use YGM mill and one magnetic separator. The magnetic separator will reduce the iron content in the final products. The other way is to use ball mill with ceramic liner and ceramic balls.
